The Old City Hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the Bayou Teche in Historic Downtown Breaux Bridge.

The front portion of the house was built in circa 1811-1812. Each room is distinctly decorated with antique furniture and family heirlooms, all chosen to provide our guests with a relaxing and cozy respite. All rooms have private baths.

The Old City Hotel is within walking distance to boutiques, galleries, restaurants, parks, grocery stores, live music, and festival events. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the big city to feel like you’ve left the stress of your modern, fast-paced life behind.

The Old City Hotel is also a short drive to Lake Martin. The Lake is known for having one of Louisiana's largest nesting colonies for many species of water birds and alligators managed by The Nature Conservancy. It is the perfect place to go on a swamp tours, or hunting, fishing, and canoeing.
